Whitney Donahue
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Whitney is a Sib and a therapist who celebrates and affirms LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent experiences. Equity, inclusivity, and justice are central to her work, and she approaches therapy with cultural humility. As a Sib herself, she believes you have permission to want more for your life and will support you in working through your “stuff” so you can move forward with clarity and self-trust. Her sense of humor is key to her relationship building; she finds that laughter creates connection and opens hearts and minds. She has a warm, empathic, and holistic approach, inviting clients to bring all of themselves to therapy as she does the same.
Whitney specializes in supporting siblings of people with disabilities and has experience working with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and neurodivergence. Her integrated approach draws from person-centered therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brainspotting, and mindfulness, allowing her to tailor therapy to each client’s goals. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California.
