Whitney

Mental Health Counselor

Whitney is a Sib and a therapist who celebrates and affirms LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent experiences. Equity, inclusivity, and justice are central to her practice, and she places great importance on cultural humility and responsiveness. She wants to support your life journey by helping you figure out your "stuff" so you can move forward. As a Sib, you have permission to desire and want more for yourself.

Whitney has experience in working with stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and neurodiversity, and specializes in working with siblings of people with disabilities. She also enjoys supporting white people in unpacking white supremacist culture within themselves as they relearn what it can mean to be white in America.

Using an integrated approach, including aspects of Person-centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Brainspotting, and mindfulness, she caters the style and type of therapy to each individual client and their goals.

Whitney has a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Southern California and is an Associate Clinical Social Worker in the state of California.
