
Pour into Yourself
Even in the midst of so much going on in school and at home, as Sibs, we have thankfully found some places to go to in order to find ourselves; our friends, who we can confide in and find empathy and safety with, listening to uplifting music or songs that remind us that we're not alone in what we're going through, turning to art and drawing is another great emotional outlet, in addition going on walks and catching our breath in nature. Just a simple change in scenery is a great way to recharge and recenter, and remind ourselves that taking space for YOU does not mean you are taking away space from your sibling, your parents, or anyone else. It's like the oxygen mask theory on an airplane - you have to pour into yourself first before you can be the best you can be for everyone else.
